Greg is at the helm of the Safeguard franchise in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, growing the business organically through a focus on offering customers the latest products and superior customer service. Expanding through acquisition to Ventura County, Kern County and most recently, Los Angeles County, Greg continues to bring his customer-focused approach to those areas. His sales achievements with Safeguard, include Eagles, Masters and Presidents Clubs marking significant growth milestones. He is also a founding member of the United Safeguard Distributors Association, an organization founded to create a community of Safeguard franchisees to support the health of the franchisee network.
Gretchen joined the business in 2019 focusing on marketing and business development. She has many years working within and with privately held local businesses. She held the position of President of a small business conference company, assuming responsibility for managing all aspects for the company for several years. Previously, she held the position of SVP for Channel Development for Safeguard Business Systems, the franchisor parent company, managing the relationship between the parent company and the franchisee network and developing products and programs for the network. She also has experience as a corporate and small business lender.
Bryan has been with Safeguard in various capacities since 2010, assisting his family with building the Los Angeles business before its sale in 2019 to GA Cook & Associates. Bryan continues to represent Safeguard with particular emphasis on promotional products.
Debra has been with Safeguard since 2015, providing customers with the excellent service they have come to expect, including concierge services, efficient order management, product consultation and graphic design. Prior to Safeguard, Debra’s experience includes customer service for signage, health insurance, education and photography businesses.
John has been active in the printing/advertising business for over forty years. His expertise in printing, mailing and data processing rounds out his direct mail/marketing background, he is well versed in all aspects of advertising and promotional products. Prior to Safeguard, John held positions with Ogilvy & Mather, Wright Graphics and Banner Printing. He was also president of the Direct Marketing Association of Southern California
Robin has been with Safeguard since 1982 while working as a secretary. In 1983, Robin moved to Bakersfield where she and her husband Walt bought a Safeguard Distributorship in Bakersfield . They worked together for over thirty years providing great customer care to their customers . As a co-owner, Robin was instrumental in building the Bakersfield business before merging with GA Cook & Associates in 2019. Robin manages the Bakersfield office and continues to provide the exemplary customer service Safeguard Bakersfield customers have come to enjoy.
Timi joined Safeguard Bakersfield in 2019, assisting customers with orders, billing and product inquiries. Prior to Safeguard, Timi taught US History and creative writing and helped to develop and distribute a healthcare billing training system. She enjoys spending time with her family and rearranging the furniture.
Emma’s responsibilities include safeguarding the office, greeting visitors, guarding customer records and charming all those who meet her. Emma has been a part of the Safeguard family since 2016. When she is not on duty, she enjoys morning walks around the neighborhood, playing with the Great Dane who guards his family’s office in the building, and napping.
